Writing for stage is such a different process to writing for screen and takes a different mentality.
You have to convey a story to an audience without the tricks of television. You have to engage a live audience is a very different way, so I am blessed that I have been able to write collaboratively with the incredibly talented Seth Jones.
His humour, wit and eye for grabbing an audience are second to none and together we have produced three plays so far, with many more to come, I hope. We write comedies with real drama that make you laugh and cry and they have been terribly well received.
We are in the early days of out joint play-writing career and maybe one day I will write something on my own. But working with Seth and then bringing our plays to life as actors as we often do is a total thrill.
