Feature Screenplays

I love movies, always have and I’m not afraid to share my favourites (there are too many). I love Braveheart, The Godfather trilogy, Aliens, The Terminator, Philadelphia, Planes Trains and Automobiles, The Amityville Horror, Star Trek2 : the Wrath Of Khan, Goodfellas, The Untouchables, Highlander, Star-wars, Jaws, Dirty Harry, Million Dollar Baby, Harry Brown, Rocky, First Blood, I have left many out and could go on forever.

 

I like to write collaboratively with like-minded others, but also on my own – both have their rewards – and I can write across genre’s as I like lots of different type of film.

 

I could also list here a huge number of awful films – films that have lazy writing, shoddy acting, poor characters etc… but why do that, when even the bad films have had a huge effort going in to making them. But if there is one thing I hate in movies, it is the treatment of women and minority characters. I like to think my characters diverse and as complex and interesting as real people are, regardless of their background and I always check to make sure my characters represent correctly and fairly. 

 

I love writing films and TV – films and TV I would want to see.
